The Candidate.
The ideal candidate will bring experience from a highly regulated environment, with a solid understanding of FCA guidelines and compliance standards.
A background in Debt Management or Financial Services, particularly with exposure to call auditing, is essential.
They should also demonstrate familiarity with the governing bodies, ICAEW and ICAS, understanding their role in upholding professional standards within the accountancy and financial sectors.
The Role: Internal Auditor.
We're looking to grow our Call Audit & Compliance Team with a motivated and detail-oriented Internal auditor / Quality Assurance Executive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a new role in compliance or quality assurance who is looking to develop their career further.
You’ll help maintain high standards in our call quality and compliance processes, providing feedback and support that helps the advisors deliver better outcomes.
DUTIES:
Complete internal audits throughout the business, providing detailed notes for the compliance officers to provide effective feedback.
To provide administrative support to the compliance team, including additional audits where necessary, preparation of feedback forms, minute taking, reporting, and highlighting trends.
Involvement with the feedback process to gain an understanding of requirements to progress to the role of compliance officer.
Offering training and coaching to all teams.
Required-Industry knowledge, ability to build relationships across the business, positive and confident approach to feedback.
Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Additional attributes.
- Experience in AML activities is also desirable, but not essential.
- Experience in quality assurance, either through call monitoring or process monitoring.
- Passionate about learning.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate with senior members of the organisation.
- Experience in driving process improvements.
- Flexible and adaptable to deal with changing areas of focus for monitoring.
- Confident with the use of the MS Office suite.
- Able to work independently but also as part of a team.
