Our growing Manchester-based Client is expanding, and we’re seeking an experienced insolvency professional to join them in this newly created hybrid working role.
About the Role
We’re introducing a forward-thinking position that blends two key insolvency roles — IVA Case Assessor and IVA Drafter — into one hybrid function.
This new model ensures greater flexibility, team coverage, and a more dynamic workflow. You’ll be part of a collaborative team supporting clients and colleagues, ensuring consistency across the IVA process from case review through to drafting and approval.
Key Responsibilities
IVA Case Assessment
- Review and assess IVA proposals, supporting documents, and financial information.
- Conduct thorough affordability and compliance checks in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with clients, creditors, and internal teams to clarify information and ensure accurate case handling.
- Ensure all IVA assessments meet company policy, Insolvency Act requirements, and FCA / Insolvency Practitioner standards.
IVA Drafting
- Draft accurate, compliant IVA proposals and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with Insolvency Practitioners and case officers to finalise proposals.
- Ensure all paperwork and data are accurate and complete before sign-off.
- Maintain quality and consistency in communication, documentation, and delivery timescales.
About You
- Proven experience as an IVA Case Assessor, IVA Drafter, or similar insolvency role.
- Strong understanding of the IVA process, regulatory framework, and client care standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workloads efficiently and adapt to different stages of the IVA lifecycle.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Salary from £30k to £35k pa plus performance-related bonus. depending on your level of experience.
Monday to Friday - office hours -
Weekends, one in two, Saturday or Sunday.
