This role suits someone confident in managing cases with minimal supervision, delivering high‑quality statutory work, and acting as a key point of contact for directors, creditors, and internal stakeholders.
Role Purpose.
The Senior Case Administrator is responsible for the effective progression of insolvency cases from appointment through to closure. You will ensure statutory compliance, lead on complex case tasks, and support junior team members while maintaining a professional and commercial approach to stakeholder management.

- Advanced Statutory Documentation — Prepare detailed reports, notices, decision procedures, progress reports, and SIP‑compliant documentation.
- Creditor Management — Handle escalated creditor queries, prepare proofs of debt, and manage dividend processes.
- Director Engagement — Liaise with directors to obtain information, challenge inconsistencies, and support interviews where required.
- Financial Case Work — Complete bank reconciliations, asset realisations, fee estimates, and distribution calculations with a high degree of accuracy.
- SOA & Financial Review — Review Statements of Affairs, management accounts, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Compliance Oversight — Ensure cases meet all statutory and regulatory obligations, escalating risks or anomalies to senior management.
- Mentoring & Support — Provide guidance to junior team members, review their work, and support their development.
- Case File Quality — Maintain high‑quality case files, ensuring documentation, checklists, and records meet internal and regulatory standards.
Skills & Experience Required.
- Insolvency Experience — Strong background in corporate or personal insolvency with proven case ownership.
- Technical Competence — Solid understanding of insolvency legislation, statutory requirements, and case processes.
- Communication Skills — Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Organisation & Accuracy — Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- IT & Systems — Confident using case management systems, Excel, and document templates.
- Problem‑Solving — Ability to identify issues early, propose solutions, and maintain case momentum.
Ideal Candidate Profile.
- Confident managing cases with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical grounding with a proactive, commercial mindset.
- Comfortable handling complex creditor or director queries.
- Keen to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
- Motivated by delivering high‑quality, compliant, and efficient case work.
What This Role Offers.
