Job Description

The Business Development Manager will act as a trusted ambassador across the West Yorkshire-to-North West corridor, building meaningful, long‑term relationships with accountants and professional advisers.

This role is about opening doors, creating presence, and becoming the first call when accountants need specialist support for their clients.

No aggressive selling.
No transactional behaviour.
This is high‑calibre relationship development.

Key Responsibilities.

●Identify and approach accountancy firms with a confident, premium introduction that positions the organisation as a trusted specialist.
●Build genuine, long‑term relationships with partners, directors, and senior client managers.
●Maintain a visible, consistent presence across Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, and Manchester fringe.
●Encourage accountants to refer clients through trust, reliability, and professional credibility.
●Attend ICAEW/ACCA events, breakfast briefings, and regional professional‑services gatherings.
●Understand pressures within accountancy practices and identify where specialist support adds value.
●Work closely with technical teams to ensure advisers receive accurate, timely guidance.

●A natural relationship‑builder with a warm, confident presence.
●Experience engaging accountants, advisers, or professional‑services firms.
●Comfortable speaking to partners and directors with ease and credibility.
●Strong listener with the ability to spot opportunities through conversation.
●Organised, consistent, and reliable with follow‑ups and territory management.
●Prefers long‑term relationship development over transactional selling.
●Comfortable travelling across the West Yorkshire → North West corridor.

-Competitive salary – £38,500  to £42,500k pa + performance related bonus.
